I can't say enough good things about the Canale! Breakfast was exceptional - We (my husband, my two sons in their mid-20s and I) were treated like royals daily with an array of complimentary Greek yogurt with honey, nuts and seeds, freshly baked on-site cakes and pitas and fresh fruit, all before we even ordered from the menu! The entire staff (Spiros, Nina, Kostas, Andonis, Stevie, Eva and her mom/the chef, Lefteris, and Alexandra) were very warm and friendly, treating us like we were the only guests, and all spoke excellent English; we bonded dearly with each one and will never forget them! We were given bottles of champagne in our rooms (to enjoy in the jacuzzi on the balcony!); each night they tidied up our rooms while we were out, besides the daily afternoon maid service, and left us a small dessert and a large bottle of Evian. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are infused with delicate scented oils; there is relaxing spa music throughout the halls; the elevator speaks to you; and the rooms are "smart" with buttons to operate everything! Every day we received a fresh set of beautiful beach towels. They also gave each of us a lovely straw beach tote bag (to keep) and a parting gift of local specialties when we left. We were greeted like family every time we entered the lobby; happily chauffeured wherever we needed to go at no extra charge and then were picked back up within minutes of calling for them; they made a nail salon appointment for me, took me there and brought me back; called a pharmacy for me and picked up a medication I needed; made great dinner and touring suggestions and all our reservations! They also reserved daily, and for FREE, sun beds/palapas for us at beautiful Makris Gialos/Costa Costa beach right up front (worth $200 day for 4 people!). I would go back just to see the staff again!!

The staff are the warmest, most helpful and genuine I have seen in a long, long time. Alexandra, Stevie, Nina, spiros, kostas and one more guy which I unfortunately forgot his name, they were incredible incredible INCREDIBLE. Always smiling, always checking in with us how our days went and recommending when we needed help. We wanted to charter a yacht for a day and do many beach stops and they had the perfect, most professional options. We had a wonderful stay at canale. Also not to forget, the rooms are very well done and kept, everything is tastefully done. The touches of Bvlgari, evian and a range rover to drop you off or pick you up anywhere in Argostoli were a really nice touch from the management. The jacuzzi in the room is clean and new also. The waterfall pressure of showers are AMAZING. Location is perfect. I could go on and on 😊 σε ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ

We’ve both stayed at many hotels around the world including’Hotels of the World’ and well known five star chains and we both agreed we’ve never experienced such as exceptional customer service as we did at Canale Hotel. Every single member of the team anticipated our every need and we were left wanting for nothing more. This included sorted out car hire beginning to end, parking our car rental for us daily, complimentary first row cabanas as a nearby fabulous beach club, Whats App reception no matter where you are in the island with requests for taxis, restaurant recommendations and bookings etc. Lovely, professional individuals who work as a brilliantly, super well oiled machine. The breakfast and barista coffee was as good as any top brunch cafe in Bondi or Miami. Forensic thought has been put into every detail at this hotel. The high end design is modern with clean lines. It was the best end-to-end holiday experience we’ve had.

We felt as comfortable as if we were at home. Each morning, our day was elevated by Christina’s impeccable breakfast service. We are grateful to the whole team, especially Martine, Maria, and Petros. Our birthday celebration and honeymoon were truly extraordinary. Additionally, Costa Costa Beach and Costa D’ora Restaurant were exceptional. We look forward to the possibility of future encounters. We were greeted with cocktails and cucumber water on arrival, and even upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi as it was our anniversary. The breakfast each morning was exceptional. The best and most decadent breakfast I’ve ever had - the host just kept bringing out delicious food. And when my boyfriend mentioned that he liked passionfruit, each morning the host brought out extra passionfruit. Above all else, the best things about this hotel is the staff. They are always on hand to help and make you feel welcome. We can’t wait to come back every year.
